Drop-Off & Pick-up Procedures

Our drop-off and pick-up procedures will remain the same as last year.  Please review these rules with your child/ren, especially for students in Grades K-2 and new students.  NO PARKING in front of school for picking-up and dropping-off.
     For liability reasons, no child may be dropped off before 7:15 am. 
AM Kindergartners and first graders are to report to the library if they arrive between 7:15am and 7:35 am.  After 7:35 am they may report directly to their classrooms.  Students in Grades 2-8, arriving between 7:15 am and 7:35 am are to report directly to the gymnasium.  (THEY MAY NOT GO TO THEIR HOMEROOMS OR LOCKERS.)  These students will be supervised in the gym by Mr. Coulter; they will sit in lines according to grade level.  They may talk or do work but this is not play period.  Students wishing to purchase a lunch ticket will be allowed to do so at 7:30 am.  All other students will be sent up from the gym to their homerooms at 7:35 am.
 
Athletic Fees
Our athletic fee is $20.00 per child/per sport, with a $120.00 maximum per family/per year.  This fee helps defer the cost of replacing uniforms and equipment.  The athletic fee must be paid before a student may participate in any PRACTICES or GAMES  for all sports.

Busing

Busing is provided to St. Robert students in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Flushing Community Schools.  Bus safety must be a priority that both home and school are working toward.  Please talk to your children about the importance of following bus rules.  Cooperating with the drivers, who have accepted a tremendous amount of responsibility, is vital to a safe school year.  With the younger children make sure that they have an older brother or sister, or perhaps a neighborhood acquaintance, who can look out for them until they become familiar with bus routines and numbers.
