School Prayer

Composed by the students of St. Robert School and prayed daily – 2001
Loving Father, You have blessed us with a special school family. Help us to learn and grow. Help us to listen to Your message and make good choices. Help us show our love by reaching out to those who need us. We ask this in faith, as your St. Robert children Through your Son, Jesus. Amen.

St. Robert Catholic School believes that each child is a unique gift from God, and that a relationship with God should be fully integrated into the life of every student. In partnership with parents, we provide a distinctly Catholic Christian education in a safe, loving environment where students are challenged to grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially.

“The Lord bless and keep you.

The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you!

The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!

Numbers 6:24-26

We usually start a new year with resolutions and goal. How about starting 2010 with a list of blessings? As the economy and situation in our area and the country has changed over the past few years, people have been forced to reprioritize and truly note what is important.

Thank God for the blessings you received in 2009. Compose a list of loved ones that you will pray for this year. Keep the priorities of faith, family, and health at the top of your “blessings” list and thank God for them daily.

St. Robert School is blessed with 251 students from 170 faith-filled families. We have 11 full time teachers who have dedicated their lives to Catholic education and passing on the faith. There are over 20 support personnel that share their gifts with our teachers and students to contribute to a well-rounded top quality education, as well as a nurturing pleasant environment for our St. Robert School children.

We are truly blessed. I am thankful for the St. Robert School Family and look forward to 2010, as we grow in faith and knowledge together.

God bless you,

Susan SharpPrincipal

What kind of prayer are you saying if you have a leader recite a series of supplications and the group responds to each?
