There are several information options available to parents should weather conditions or other circumstances warrant a closing or canceling of school, or if the day is cut short after it has already begun and the children are being sent home early.  Parents will be notified of such emergency closings by the following radio and television stations:

Listen or look for “Flushing Community Schools” and/or “St. Robert School”: WJRT (Channel 12), WEYI (Channel 25), WNEM (Channel 5), WSMH (Channel 66), CW (Channel 50), WIOG (102.5), WWCK (105.5), WCRZ (107.9), WWJ (950), WJR (760) or call the Flushing Community Schools Recorded Message Line (810) 591-1195.

If the school is closed during the day, all after school activities held at St. Robert School are automatically cancelled.

Please do not call the school unless it is absolutely necessary. 

The school telephone lines must be reserved for school use.
